Private and Semi-Private Sewing Classes for ALL ages and sewing levels
These classes are for 1 to 4 students and are held at my house in Palo Alto, at mutually convenient times.
Together we design your sewing "curriculum."
Student can learn to
• Thread and operate the sewing machine -- yours OR
mine

• Draft your own designs, change patterns or replicate
garments you love
• Sew Green by altering, mending, re-purposing,
or re-designing clothing or other fabrics you already have
Complete your project at my house (over several lessons) and/or take assignments home to sew on your own. You can also integrate Private and Semi-Private lessons with the Small Group Lessons

For Adult Small Group lessons, it is highly recommended that students be familiar with the threading and operation of the sewing machine. If you have had no previous experience with a machine or if you are rusty from years of inactivity, please enroll the one-session (2-hour) Meet and Greet the Sewing Machine.

The date(s) and time(s) of your private or semi-private lesson(s) will be confirmed upon receipt of fees. You may pay with a check payable to Diane Appleton. I will send you my address when you email to register.
When you register for the Private or Semi-Private sewing lesson(s), we will discuss your sewing goals and project(s) and the necessary materials, notions, and tools. I will have some notions available for purchase.
